Reiki supports the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Improves circulation. Lowers heart rate and
blood pressure. Cleanses the body of toxins.
Induces deep relaxation.  Stimulates
the Lymphatic system.  Strengthens the immune
system. Reiki is spiritually guided universal life
 force energy.  The word Reiki is Japanese
in origin and literally means:

Rei = universal, and ki = life force energy
 (the  same as chi or prana).  

To "use" Reiki, is to channel this energy through one's
body to one's self or another for healing  purposes.

Seichim is "living light energy", also spiritually guided
universal life force energy. Reiki and Seichim are
different "flavors" or vibrational levels of
the Divine energy that makes up the life force of
everything in the  universe. Neither one is
a religion, nor do they require that one be
of any particular religious belief.
